SCHOOL REOPENING: Latest Update From Nigerian Federal Universities

Nigeria as a country has about 44 federal universities and 48 state universities according to National Universities Commission.

All these universities has been closed after the directives from the ministry of education due to the outbreak of corona virus. Its has been six months of lockdown and most universities are getting ready for resumption. The following are the universities which are getting ready and their state of preparation:

1) Bayero University, Kano;

Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise has started for 2020/2021 session. And the university is one of the universities which is getting ready and has been putting all Covid-19 guidelines amid school activities and resumption.

2)University, Duste, Jigawa.

Admission exercise for this state has started and it's going to run from 7 September to 4 October 2020. All candidate are advice to take notice because, they might not be any need for extension of the date, since school resumption is drawing near.

3). Federal University of Technology, Minna

Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise has started for this university, and the both screening exercise is going to run from 21st September to 18th November 2020. Candidate are advice that the screening exercise is going to be online base.

4). Federal University, kashere, Gombe

Post UTME and direct entry screening exercise has started for this university, and the screening exercise is going to be from 7th September to 30th September 2020. It is going to be online base.

5). University of Ibadan

Both Post UTME and direct entry screening exercise has started for this university. The screening exercise is going to end on 16th October 2020.

6). University of Ilorin

Registrations for both Post UTME and direct entry screening exercise has started, and it is going to end on 30th September 2020. Post graduate form for 2020/2021 program has also started.

7). University of Benin

Post UTME and direct entry screening exercise has begun and it is going to be available from 23rd November to 8th December 2020.

8). University of Abuja

The university has started the sales of both Post UTME and direct entry screening exercise, which will end on 27th November 2020.

9). Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka

The university has started the sales of both post UTME and direct entry screening exercise, which is going to end by 30th September 2020.

10). Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State

The university has started their Post UTME screening exercise and is it going to end by 30th September 2020.
